Stonehaven evening

after a glorious lazy Sunday the boy and I headed out for an impromptu dinner. we had a beautiful meal at the marine hotel, topped off by a spectacular moonrise Over the horizon. the burning amber coloured moon rose in massive proportions over the sapphire blue sky and was such a sight! most of the diners all had their heads turned to the window watching mesmerised as it emerged majestically from the sea.

what followed was a leisurely walk along the harbour, a romantic stop off sitting on the edge of the pier in the moonlight before walking back along the coast to the car.

all in all one of those days where everything fits nicely into place and you remember that life is in fact, good
