Viburnum x burkwoodii
This lovely little plant sits nicely in the front garden, (and as it faces N/E, which gets some chilly winds & weather, plus some morning sun), does very well. At the moment during the spring it has these beautiful small white/pink flowers which are highly scented. After they go, the blue/black berries develop along with the glossy dark ovate leaves. Also it is very slow growing, and certainly doesn't mind the odd prune!
It has been a beautiful day here in the SW, but the clouds are bubbling up again now. Wonder what weather we will have tomorrow?
