Unfortunate pheasant

Sorry for the repeated dead-bird imagery, but it was so pretty. We hit this poor pheasant with the car, but the dogs were happy. We had a gale last night and today and I really wanted to go out and take photos of waves, but my other half was on call all day and away with the car - next time!
