Baby you can drive my..... tractor
I certainly paid the price for all that chopping yesterday, I felt like a million year old man this morning I could hardly get out of bed.
However it was the first race of the F1 season and Alf had Stan here for a sleepover so we got up to watch the race.. And what a race. Lots of going on and whilst the end result was a little predictable the rest was very good indeed.
Ted, Jo and Louis came over for lunch so we made pork belly and beans, and H's amazing Rhubarb and Ginger pudding, very simple, no faffing about. The rest of the afternoon was spent playing football, tag, riding on the tractor, playing guitar, talking, and for along time we were joined by a mysterious Cat called Toodles. We might also have had a few drinks.
Anyway it was a lovely sunny afternoon, we were still sitting outside at 6:30 (although we had a little fire). Hopefully this fine weather will continue until October.
