Honey Bee

Carrying on the insect theme today with this little Honey Bee who was collecting pollen from my Japonica shrub. I watched him for quite a while and was amazed at how much pollen he was collecting on his little legs, he seemed to struggle to fly off from some of the flower heads. I love his furry head and how his translucent wings are catching the brilliant sunshine we've had all day. He looks good in large.
I was in the garden from 11.00am until 5.00pm, and so pleased with all I've achieved. Brown recycling bin is full to overflowing and its not collected for another two weeks, perhaps next weekend I'll put my feet up - mm, some chance of that!
