Old and new

Another lie-in this morning - it's been a weary weekend - but I did manage to stir my bones to walk round to the shops for baking supplies. The skies were bright and the quarry path is no longer thick with mud. There's still not a lot of colour out there but some new shoots are appearing beside the old berries (or are they hips?)

Biscuits were baked, Y13 reports written and another book finished. Telly options are severely limited this evening so I have resorted to watching the BBC Pride and Prejudice on LoveFilm. And very enjoyable it is too - if a bit shocking that it was first broadcast 19 years ago!
