What a day!

Well, a lovely day as the sun was out. We set off at 9.15 to go and visit my brother and at 10.45 a horrid knocking noise could be heard in the car. Thankfully we made a quick decision to exit the M25 and just as well we did. We got half a mile further and ground to a halt in a layby. At least we were in safe situ as we had the boys with us.

Waited 45 minutes for road side assistance but it was bad news a hole in the engine. An he had no idea how that could have happened.. we counted ourselves lucky that it gave us some warning before cutting out.

We eventually got home at 4.30pm... the boys were so good they deserved a treat so we all went out for dinner. I can't believe how exhausted I am from doing nothing all day.
