Quiet Blipper

Toronto Waterfront

I arrived in Toronto almost am hour early today. Very strong tailwind from Vancouver. Had time for a long walk in the sun along the boardwalk that runs for miles along the Toronto waterfront. Chilly bit bright blue sky and brilliant sunshine. A nice change from the grey west coast.

This is a typical scene for a Sunday afternoon. When the weather permits many people walk by the water and feed the ducks. I did, many times, when I was a little girl growing up here. We would take some bags of bread crusts and spend hours throwing bits to the ducks. Happy memories.

This girl was perched about 6 feet off the water( it was not frozen by the shore) and she attracted quite a crowd of birds. This little guy, bottom left, was really keen.
