Easter "egg"

Sunday lunch with dear friends was a real treat & tonic after a hectic week at work.The weather was gorgeous so we decided to pop into the garden centre on the way. I'll come back to that it a bit ...We all had a good chat with our roast & all the trimmings and red and white were colours of the day.Before leaving we had a look at some incabating eggs, real eggs, and true to form I couldnot resist it being my pic of the day. we headed off to the cellar in th dark to see if the chick had formed.if you look at the top of the egg you can see the "air sac" - when the chick first breaks the shell its this area that it will stay just inside the broken shell, You can also make out the blood vessels and the beak.

some time later... we headed home to open our shopping bags and decided to "set up" the new charcoal bbq, 2 hours later the thing was assembled and ready for action, however one handle is already in need of a repair !! lest said best mended as they say...
