The Ashton Memorial

Visiting Lancaster for the first time on a dreary day turned in to a lovely experience. Had a guided tour of the castle which was very informative. Then we went to Williamson park and saw the ashton memorial. We stumbled across Lancaster brewery for a quick half before visiting the farm shop and making our way back through the trough of bowland. All in all, a fab way to spend a Sunday!
