TRIO O TRILLIUM

Gee, I took a lot of pictures today. Everyone was going to be a blip. Then we went on a hike up the reservoir trail, and on the way back , spotted our first Trillium of the year. Then we spotted another and another and another. Didn't see a one on the way up! They must have just appeared!
I was told years ago that if you pick one, it won't bloom again for seven years. Don't know if it's true. I have never picked one, but our friends little daughters came back with a whole bouquet one time.
