November 1999. As abruptly as this credit card thing ended, I can tell that I came up with something else I wanted to get to more quickly - which turns out to be the Christmas Carol parody coming up that every comic strip is obligated to do at least once in its run. As it was, though, the credit card thing wasn't that interesting - I was going to do a whole thing with Frank being not very happy with Tad's spendthrift ways, but then I thought: what am I doing? This is supposed to be funny. So Tad escapes with no consequences yet again.

The second strip is an old joke that I thought was the funniest thing on earth at the time: looks a bit tired now, eh?
