It took two years, but I finally convinced my friend Alex to come up for a visit. The last time I saw him was two years ago when I visited Hong Kong. He's been living down there for about the same amount of time I've been living in Suzhou. Even though it's a much closer plane ride than to America, we've never been able to arrange a visit.

But he and his friend finally made it up and after exploring Suzhou and Shanghai, I think I've officially convinced them to come back for a visit. Even if they don't make it back anytime soon, I'll be down in Hong Kong in three weeks to pay them a visit :)
