There are still many trees in blossom, but green leaves are beginning to take over. It is the time of year when our landscape morphs from brown and gray to brown and gray -- plus oases of green.

In spring there begins to appear a very slight hint of green hue when looking off at the distant landscape. How long it lasts depends on whether or not we have rain.
