Rusty Derrick at Diamond Harbour

Lunch at Diamond Harbour. Saw the remains of Godley House ie the concrete base and not much more. An victim of Canterbury earthquakes.

This winch or derrick at the wharf is used for lifting boats.. Still very functional, and not that rusty. Any iron near the sea is rusty of course.

Perfect day after yesterday's storm. Was about a dozen trees down on road to Diamond Harbour. So much mud deep runnels and debris to clean up.

So warm we had another swim this afternoon.
