when the petals are gone and they go so quick

I thought it was my turn to take a shot at a poppy in my garden. Thought the seed head looked good, it was that or the cast off petals scattered on the path.

Today I finished off Christmas cards for overseas. Got to be done and I think this is the soonest I have managed. I guess that many people will think "why on earth are they still sending me a Xmas card - after so many years!". Why not, I may want to visit a few years down the track and maybe they will send me one too and I will win the "who got the most cards" competition.
