Hotel Dubrovnik, Zagreb

This was always going to happen - I've just uploaded this photo to my 'primary' blip account and had to delete the entry again!

Anyway, back here again.

I'm in a different part of the hotel this time, overlooking the main square. This used to be a problem with noise, but they've upgraded these rooms to a very high standard, and this is now a really nice place to be, with great views of the Upper Town and the Cathedral.

The only downside (the upsides are the comfort factor, the enormous bed, the well appointed bathroom) is that the Hotel Dubrovnik breakfasts are barely any better than they were in the early 2000s, which feels centuries ago when you compare the way that the rest of the city looks and feels.

One more night here, until I have a phase of 'enjoying' some rather budget hotels in England.
