MAMHEAD PEACOCK

I stopped at my sister's in Devon on my way to London, it was a beautiful sunny day and I love to be here. The only downside is ,, no internet so I couldn't upload my image until now.
The Peacocks are beginning to get their summer plumage, two of them got together last year and had a baby - he is now growing quite big and developing a lovely plumage. I have always wanted to take this shot and finally I managed to - it was however through the window - so not as clear as I would have liked. We sat watching the birds - tits, robins, chaffinches and blackbirds, the squirrels, peacocks and even a mouse as well as my favourite woodpecker. I have really missed the wildlife outside my window. The flat in Falmouth is limited in this respect and I am trying desperately to find somewhere with more outside space.
