Elephant Parade.

After returning from a weekend away with a bunch of students, it was nice to come home to my birthday presents. I had to open them the day before my actual birthday, since I'm so swamped with other commitments that I won't even really see my family on my birthday (don't feel too sorry for them - they haven't got me a cake or anything..) I did get this from my mum though - a little ceramic elephant which is from the organisation Elephant Parade, which raises awareness about Asian elephants. Check out their website to see all the elephant statues in different cities around the world. I got to see a few in Copenhagen in 2011. Looking forward to more presents tomorrow!
