A flip of a coin

Today my travels took me to Sedbergh. As I was driving back I took this snap. I took it because nearly 24 years ago, this is where I stood aged 16 3/4, making a tough decision with my boyfriend. To live in Kendal or Sedbergh, a flip of a coin and Kendal was to be where we made our home.
When I think back I can't really believe we made such a life changing decision in that way. But I'm glad we did. After 14 years together we parted but Kendal is my home now. I wouldn't live anywhere else, well unless I have a lottery win.
