In other news, I served at the Italian Catholic Federation's St. Joseph's Day table at the church this evening. If you're not familiar with it, St. Joseph is the patron saint of Italy, much in the same way St. Patrick is to Ireland.

St. Joseph's Day is March 19, and that is the traditional day to have this meatless feast (meatless because it's always during Lent). But that fell during the week this year. It is sort of a potluck style meal. We hold it open to the public with a donation of $5, the proceeds of which are donated to the local food bank.
