A bit of a do

The old person had her hair done today, it was long overdue. She was recently described as looking like a banshee since she came back from Scotland. This is her default position, sitting on the couch watching the goggle box. I have tried to get her to join clubs by volunteering to go with her but she is not interested. She is becoming more unsteady on her feet as the days pass and it frustrates us but unless she makes the effort to move around more there is not much we can do except make sure she is clean, warm and fed - oh yes, and take her to the hairdressers every few weeks!
