Scraping the barrel

I wouldn't normally take a drink on Monday night but I am on holiday and it is St Patrick's Day.

And it seemed like a simple idea. Call into a local pub, order a wee half pint of Guinness... Blip sorted!

Amazingly though we were welcomed by the barman with the words 'Guinness is off I'm afraid, let down by our supplier'.

I must have looked so disappointed he went off to scrap the barrel, wiggle the pipes and hey presto, the last half pint available.

It tasted fine ;-)
