Sláinte
I didn't wear green today but I am celebrating St. Patrick's day start to finish.
For starters: Enjoyed a bowl of Irish porridge made with McCann's steel cut oatmeal, some chopped dates and a splash of cream.
That was healthy enough, so I feel I'm allowed a taste of Irish whisky to finish the day. No matter that it's only 2:30pm local time: that's 9:30pm in Ireland!
And for dinner this evening: um... Farfalle with broccoli, red onions and sausage. A traditional Irish stew would have been nice, but I didn't plan ahead.
