One, two, three

The female and the male swan were both at the nest this afternoon. The female revealed 3 eggs when she got up to help him add more material to their nest.

I just had to stop at the artificial island after work even though it took longer before I would get home. The male swan was standing so close to the female in the few shots that I managed to take when she stood up and revealed the eggs that I could not avoid getting his tail in the picture.

The Great Crested Grebes nest was empty when I arrived at the island but the birds were nowhere to be seen so I can only assume that their 4th egg had also hatched.
