The Intruder.

"Psssssstt....that bloke behind us, what's with him? Did he change the colour of his feathers for Mono Monday? Wasn't that just suppose to be a Monday thing? And what's with the weird hat on his head?"

My resident Rainbow Lorikeets were such good sports yesterday, splashing around in the bird bath for my water themed image for Mono Monday, but some of my blip friends said they much preferred to see them in colour! Well, I have to agree with you all on that, for sure....their colours are spectacular! But wasn't it fun to see their brilliant plumage changed to black and white for the day?

Just to show everyone that I didn't throw a bucket of bleach over my feathered friends, in the interests of taking a mono photo for blip, here they are again today, bright and beautiful as always. Except for that one in the background! (He is a Crested Pigeon, but as you can see by the looks on two of the Lorikeets faces, they're not so sure!)

Thank you all so so much for the lovely comments, stars and hearts left yesterday! Everyone was so kind, and it's great to see so many blippers joining in on the Mono Monday fun. Perhaps if we ask nicely, Mr. Hobbs will continue the challenge indefinitely, do you think? I will progressively thank everyone who left a comment personally as well. :)
