Canakkale Day

Always on 18th March, Canakkale Day in Turkey is a poignant remembrance service for those poor brave lads who lost their lives - 175,000 Turkish boys and 184,000 Brits, Indians, French and Anzacs in the pointless bloody fighting over the Dardanelles, Turkey,  in 1915, also known as Gallipoli.
