First leaves

DDW's March Challenge Day 18: Exiguous = Very small in size or amount

I feel this fits the theme on two counts - it's a tiny leaf bud, only about a centimetre or so in length, and is one of only two leaf buds on the plant that has, so far, produced any sign of leaves.
