Icy beauty

This is a view from the Solheimajokull Glacier in Iceland. One of the things we did on our first full day in the country was a guided glacier walk - informative and breath-taking (in many ways). This shot epitomises the black / white landscape in the snow-covered mountainous areas. Elsewhere you get shades of brown mixed in (and blue if the sky is showing). Lovely colours.

We were only in Iceland for 3 full days, but I still managed to take quite a few photographs (even though it was NOT a photographic trip, you understand).

I may back-blip a couple more Iceland images (certainly some entries will appear on Flickr). It is a beautiful country.

Unfortunately Ros has taken ill and I'm not feeling great either. It might be the meal we had in Bedfordshire last night, just an 'adjustment' issue or something else.
