That time of year . .

Took Ollie to the vets' this morning for his annual vaccination and check up and they were very impressed with him! For an eight year old dog he is in excellent condition, heart, lungs, ears and teeth all okay! Long may it last!

While in town I called in to one of my favourite shops which sells everything from paraffin lamps to pickled herring, including dozens of varieties of seed potatoes. They were doing a roaring trade, everyone is itching to get underway with planting as soon as the ground dries up a bit.

Miserable weather today, misty and dreich and 7 deg C but at least there was no wind!
