The Blue Pig

What a horrible, wet day today was. rained just about non-stop all day.
Decided to have a quick walk into Hardcastle Crags via the riverside path (very, very muddy) and past the 'Blue Pig'.
Its official title is 'Midgehole Working Mens Club', but it is known throughout the Western World as 'The Blue Pig'. (Don't ask, no-one really knows how the name came about).
It nestles by Hebden Water at the entrance to Hardcastle Crags (NT). It's very dog friendly & has cheap beer - and I mean cheap!
Well worth a visit - although not open most afternoons, except week-ends. Open every evening.
