DAY FOUR

Today was the fourth day of building work and the foundations have now been dug, inspected and are ready to be filled tomorrow. They were meant to be 2 metres deep, but as the soil was so good the planning inspector was happy with 1.2 metres instead. Just to be safe they are 1.5m.

There is a mystery pipe around a metre down and no one knows what it's for. It's quite large, so we're assuming that it's a drainage pipe for the farmland behind us.

B went back to school today, she lasted the day but is shattered. Hopefully we'll get her blood results back later this week.
