Frank has to wait until the swelling subsides before they can pin his bones.....sadly the frame that they have said he needs to prop up his leg to reduce the swelling are all in use and so he can't have one......perhaps the dismantling of the NHS is more advanced than I had feared.
Nonetheless, at visiting time, the boys did a good job of a) keeping everyone jolly and b) plumping pillows to create a makeshift leg support.
