Uncle David's birthday x
We were up, ready and out this morning to go and get Jake new school shoes. We went to Redditch as the shops opened half an hour earlier than Touchwood and Eva was so funny as we pushed her along in her pushchair. She kept looking up and putting her arms out and laughing, I think because the lights on the ceiling, as we walked along, seemed to zoom past her and the ceilings were quite high. She was so excited.
We went to my mom and Peter's on the way back to take my brother his birthday cards and prezzy and had a quick chat and coffee. We sat in the conservatory and Eva kept trying to crawl over the step back into the dining room. She also loved looking at her reflection in the glass of the French doors.
This afternoon, Eva did some drawing (today's pic - she's holding the pencil in her left hand here, but she was alternating hands, so it's still not clear if she's left or right handed) I did go and get her crayons for her to draw with, but she just kept biting the end off each one and wasn't interested in drawing with them, so I put them away again for another day. She was fine with the pencil and the pen. :-)
My dad came round to see us this afternoon too, so it was lovely to see him and have a catch up over a coffee.
Eva enjoyed her Sunday dinner today. I cooked a roast chicken, so she loved tucking into her chicken, roast potato, carrots, broccoli, cauliflower and sweetcorn all drizzled in gravy. She did really well :-) xxx
