Solo Night

Tonight I will perform my solo for the solo contest. It really shouldn't be called a contest, because nobody wins and you just get a grade on it. I've been practicing for weeks, so I'm not too nervous. I'm kind of excited. I've put hard work into this piece (Ballade, Leroy Ostransky) and I'm just excited to play it and have fun.

I've played horn for four years now, and it's crazy to think about. I've thought of quitting a thousand few times, but now in symphonic band at my high school, I'm enjoying it now more than ever.



I'm so happy I didn't quit.
