Into the Valley

Negotiating the Valley turnstiles tonight, I wasn't expecting a feast of entertainment and even less so a win given recent events in the life of Charlton Athletic. And sure enough it was the dullest of games that looked certain to end as the fifth consecutive game without a goal from the Addicks. An injury time header by Dorian Dervite from a Johnnie Jackson corner, though, changed all that. A most unexpected win to lift us out of the relegation zone, for now at least. There's nothing quite like the buzz that results from a last minute winner!
