Heidi and I went after gymnastics to visit the long awaited baby Hector. I fell in love instantly.

Hector is the much longed for baby of one of my ante natal friends Lucy. India and Lucy's son Hugh have been friends since babies. Even though I have not seen Lucy for ages it is such an easy friendship that it felt as though no time had passed. Lucy is a warm caring fun friend who often came and walked the dog with me when our eldest children were pre schoolers. Lucy is an artist, interior designer and very creative. Lucy had progressive kidney failure and it was scary to see her become more poorly whilst never complaining or being anything other than her upbeat self. Thank all the lucky stars in the sky that My friend had a successful kidney transplant that literally changed her life. Hector looks so much like his older brother Hugh that For the rest of today I have been remembering all our happy post natal group meet ups. I have some really great friends that I met and bonded with through these meet ups that were based on no other common bond apart from our babies due dates. An eclectic mix that worked.
