A Host of Golden Daffodils
This is Dora's Field at Rydal in the Lake District. After his daughter Dora died in 1847 Wiliam Wordsworth together with his wife, sister and gardener, planted hundreds of daffodils as a memorial.
It poured down nearly all day but I just managed to shoot this in sunshine.
