Polar sky

My blip for the day was ready, but I had the intuition (or just the hope) that it could be a night to see some polar light.

We went to the nearby village restaurant for dinner, and when walking back we saw it. A nice, quite thin green band which stretched almost over all the sky. Not that huge, not that colourful than it may become, but it was here and always incredible to watch the moving shapes.

Being back to our cottage, I took the camera and tried a few shots of the disappearing aurora. So that is the result.
