Just back from a visit to Grundarfjordur, a small town in Iceland. The trip was mainly about spotting Orcas and Northern Lights and we managed both. (Hurrah!) We also got a tour round the town (pop 879), really interesting to see the high school where students use laptops to learn in small groups with the teachers acting as facilitators, all course material on line and with video links to kids in the more remote communities. Great wifi facilities.
