Question made
After listening to the readings we from the public were asked to put our questions forwards and my blip is of all who listen to my neighbour in the audience asking the lecturers her question...... (What?! I forgot... silly!)
I'd received an invitation for the lecture on 'The other face of the Euro Crisis' that was organized in the framework of the Hellenic Presidency of the Council of the European Union in the first half of 2014 by the Embassy of Greece to the Kingdom of the Netherlands in collaboration with the European Commission Representation in the Netherlands.
The key-note speakers were mr. Martin Visser, a dutch reporter at Brussels and dr.ir. Nikos Kalogeras assistent professor & lecturer at Maastricht University.
The invited public had a connection with Greece and/or with the item of politics and economics ~
I have my connection with Greece 'cause of my marriage of then and life there and the friends & relatives who live there ~ it was nice to meet up with people new to me & most of them Greeks; I have a soft spot for Greeks:)
Mr. Kalogeras and mr. Visser had their stories printed in a powerpoint presentation what helped the reporters very much in making notes:)) just a blip of each new PPP and the notes are covered!
It disappointed me to see that both lecturers used statistic schemes to underline their stories, in my view statistics prove no more than You manage to make a proper question what is answered by the statistic scheme you've chosen As You Like It!
