Berries

Wimbledon week so we ordered some summer berries from our fruit and veg box. They are soo tasty, not like the oversized, overpriced tasteless muck you get in the supermarket. Not v summery weather in which to enjoy them though.

Rode out in a big gang tonight. My friend Lorraine from work came with me to have a go on Jack, I rode Tara and there were 2 others. Lorraine has had a few lessons but never been out on a hack before. I spent the day telling her how lazy Jack was and how she'd have to get after him a bit to get him to trot. So what did he do? The complete opposite. He trotted most of the way round and then when we decided to all have a little trot together in the woods he decided he was going to make for the front. Tara was having none of it and decided to try and canter off with me and before long all four of them were thinking it was some kind of race and were charging down the track. Luckily we managed to pull them up before they really got going. Good fun though!
