Combination

An early Blip for me today, while Little Miss E has her afternoon nap as I will be working later.

Thought I'd have a go at combining two of my hobbies for todays Blip, taking photographs and drawing, well art really. I haven't quite managed to achieve what I set out to, but its a starting point. Not sure if it works, but I quite like it.

Ive always loved drawing and painting since I was very young, I have a vague memory of badgering my mum for paints when I was little. It must of worked as I remember a whole set of disney paints in a metal case that were like cheap watercolours.
I always wanted to go to art school in my teens, well, Glasgow School of Art, but my dear departed mum said I wasn't good enough. Funny how some things stick with you all these years later. Perhaps she was right, but I still do portraits for people when they ask, but not as much now, since my hands are full with munchkin 2.

We have been having a good ole clear out at home. Donating or selling items we no longer need, especially the children's toys and MR C's gadgets! Sad today as I have sold my Performance running pram, feels like an end of an era as it means Little Miss E is growing up, and too heavy for me to do the miles in it anymore. Next, hopefully to go is my race bike as once this marathon is over Im swapping to 2 wheels rather than 2 legs. So my reward for running my first marathon will hopefully be a nice new upgraded race bike. Fingers crossed.
