cast on

The start of a new project.. always so exciting! I learnt how to do a new casting on technique from my daughter. It makes a lovely neat edge and is nicely stretchy too. It is no good trying to describe how to do it here for those of you who are intrigued but I suggest looking on youtube for one of the various videos that are there for teaching new methods. It involves a ball of wool, one needle (in one hand) and a finger and thumb on the other! This one comes highly recommended!
