Quince

This blossom on the quince that grows against the garden shed is beginning to open. It may be in for a bit of a shock at the weekend as the weather turns cold again. R seems to think it hasn't flowered as much as usual this year, perhaps because he was a bit heavy handed when he "pruned" it in the autumn.
