You first

The squawking and flapping is over,
A something about nothing.
Calm seems restored
But backs are turned
Until one
Says sorry first.

The squabbling ducks on the pond were amusing this morning but as I drew nearer, things calmed down and indeed this looks nicely tranquil. These two kept gliding along near each other but it seemed they deliberately wouldn't make any eye or body contact, which made me smile. One of those silly tiffs but pride demands an apology. Wishing everyone a peaceful day!
