The frog chorus

They talk about 'being at it like rabbits' but the frogs in my pond are giving the rabbits a run for their money!
It has been a steaming cauldron of activity this afternoon with the girls trying to spawn and the boys puffing themselves up and being all macho. At one point a fourth male tried to join in this threesome but couldn't get a good grip.
I love the way the 2 boys (I am assuming it 2 boys on the outside with a girl in the middle!) have got their little arms around her.
Last year we had fish (some of you may remember the 'great fish killer incident!) so most of the tadpoles didn't make it but this year I am looking forward to following their progress from spawn to frog.
