serene scene masks the chaos

Greeted with this simple scene of serenity when I walked in after work - a nano second of peace and tranquility in a day of rushing and madness.

Why? I hear you ask. Because I am leaving this afternoon for four days skiing - on my own (well with three friends) but NO kids and there is an enormous amount of prep to do before it becomes a reality in two hours! Why this weekend the kids needed to have mountain biking birthday parties to attend, sponsored walks to do and two day Duke of Ed expedition walks to achieve, I just don't know - ahhhhhh.

So must dash...so excited :)
