To Get a Load

I was feeling very pleased with myself because my onion and leek seeds are germinating nicely and I thought it was time to give the plot in which they are due to grow, an overhaul.

This is the one occasion when I buy in compost rather than using my own. I do this to try and prevent disease in the alliums and which are grown in the same plot year after year.

So the compost was dumped in the trailer and this kind lady helped me to lift some other sacks of compost in to the back of the car.
