Nature's carpet
To me a lush carpet of pine needles or spongy grass is more welcome than the most luxurious Persian rug.
Helen Keller. 1880 – 1968. American author and, in 1904, the first deaf-blind person ever to earn a bachelor of arts degree.
If truth be told my photograph was taken not among the pines but in a spruce plantation. The sentiments hold true nonetheless.
